Rev. Ron McCune and Rev. Darlene McCune and their daughters completed their first year of service to Bethel A.M.E. Church, Bloomfield, CT. Under Pastor McCune's leadership, Bethel has experienced significant growth spiritually, financially, and numerically. Listed below are the highlights of 2008 - April 2009. Our membership continues to grow, our programs are thriving, the participation of our children and youth is increasing, and we thank God who is continuing to bless us spiritually, and financially. |
MEMBERSHIP This year Bethel experienced a 54% increase in new members over last year. Our new members this year include 24 conversions and 142 accessions. |
FINANCE 33% Overall Increase in Amount Raised from All Sources |
MINISTRIES Three New Ministries Were added this year: Golden Age, The Children of Praise (Youth Choir) and Sons of Allen Men's Choir |
